3. The Motive of the Serbian “Dancing Lady Killer”

In the early hours of May 1st, 2009, a young woman’s body was discovered in an alley in the Serbian capital of Belgrade. On August 14, 1992, the police arrested Milošević and charged him with the murders of Dragica and Branka. Milošević went on trial for the murders, but he maintained his innocence.

In February 1993, Milošević was found guilty of the murders of Dragica and Branka and he was sentenced to death. However, his sentence was later commuted to life in prison.

Milošević is currently serving his life sentence at a prison in Belgrade.
