Kim Jon UN is the North American politician. North Korean leader Kim Jon UN was born on 8 January 1982, but South Korean intelligence officials believe the actual date is a year later. Kim is the second of three children of Kop Yong-hue and Kim Jon IL, and is the first leader of North Korea to be born a North Korean citizen. All of Kim Jon IL children are said to have lived in Switzerland, with the mother of the two youngest sons living in Geneva for some time. Kim Jon UN attended the private International School of Berne in Gilligan, Switzerland, under the name “Chop-Pak” or “Pak-chop”. He was described as shy, a good student, and a basketball fan. Later, he attended the Liebefeld-Steinhölzli public school in Konia, Switzerland, under the name “Pak-un” or “Un-pack” from 1998 until 2000. In April 2012, new documents came to light indicating that Jon UN had lived in Switzerland since 1991 or 1992, earlier than previously thought. Most analysts Kim agree that Kim Jon UN attended Kim IL Sung University, a leading officer-training school in Pyongyang, from 2002 to 2007. In late February 2018, Reuters reported that Kim and his father used forged passports to apply for visas in various countries. In 2012, North Korean President Kim Jon UN announced his marriage to Rib Sol-jug, who had been accompanying him to public appearances. The couple married in 2009 and had a son in 2010. They had a daughter named Judaea and a third child in 2017. Kin Jon UN daughter could be his successor. In November 2022, they were seen reviewing military arsenals together. Kim’s younger sister Kim Yon-Jon sometimes accompanied by him and the promotion of Yon Jon is seen as a sign of the Kim Jon UN regime ending co-existence with the previous regime.


Kin Jon UN was living unhealthy lifestyle because he spent most of his time in dinking wines. Kim Jon UN, a South Korean leader, has been linked to diabetes, hypertension, and smoking. He was reported to have gained 30 kg in body fat over the past five years, reaching an estimated 130 kg. In 2020, he was not seen in public for 20 days, leading to rumors of his death. In 2023, South Korean military intelligence reported that he may have obesity, alcohol, and smoking addiction, and was suffering from insomnia.

Forbes ranked Kim Jon UN as the 36th most powerful person in 2018, with 61.7% of North Korean defectors in South Korea believing he is supported by most of his countrymen. A poll of South Koreans showed 78% trust in Kim. The nickname of kin Jon UN “Kim Fatty the Third” became popular in 2016.


North Korea is rich in all known mineral deposits. Kim Jon UN owns 17 luxury palaces, a fleet of 100 European luxury cars, a private jet, and a yacht. In 2012, Business Insider reported a rise in luxury goods in North Korea. Kim’s wife Rib Sol-jug was photographed holding a Dior handbag worth $1,594. In 2018, Kim received two armored Mercedes-Maybes S600s through an illicit shipping network, violating international sanctions.

Role in government

Kim Jon UN succeeded his father Kim Jon as supreme leader of North Korea. In terms of the North Korean constitution, Kim Jon UN, Premier Kim, and Supreme People’s Assembly Chairman Chloe Ryong-hae form the trio that controls the executive branch of the North Korean government. Chloe Ryong-hae is in charge of the legal, Kim Jon UN is in charge of the armed forces, and Kim Tok-hun is in charge of the cabinet and domestic affairs. Kim Jon UN, however, holds the highest position among the three according to the constitution, which specifically designates his position as “supreme leader who represents the state.” The NDC chairperson has been expressly designated as “the supreme leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of North Korea” by the government in a constitutional amendment passed by the regime in 1998, which defines it as “the highest post in the state.
